Many a nutritive tea blend has been crafted on this theme: nutritious “green” herbs plus mint. It’s tasty and easy. Feel free to play around with the ingredients.

What You’ll Need:

  • 1 tablespoon nettle leaf
  • 1 tablespoon oat straw
  • 1 tablespoon peppermint and/or spearmint
  • Optional: red clover, horsetail, violet, raspberry leaf, lemon balm, oat tops, calendula, lady’s mantle, rose petal.


  • Steep the herbs in 16 ounces of hot water for at least 20 minutes, strain and enjoy.
